It is yet another Laudable initiative by the Atiku/Okowa support group known as Ndigbo United Congress/Non Indigene.

This great organization hosted the executives of a Non Governmental Organization dedicated to the cause of widows.




The meeting was initiated by the Ndigbo United Congress to synergise with widows who have been looking for a credible platform to vote for His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and all PDP politicians aspirants.





Of a truth, Atiku/okowa support group is making waves in the market place and other critical sectors of the country especially in different parts of lagos state.




President of the support group, Dr Jonathan Nnaji welcomed the leaders of the widows and assured them that the NUC Atiku/Okowa support group is willing to work with them in fulfilling their political aspirations. He informed them that his mother became a widow at an early age when he was much younger and had to go through untold hardship to earn a living and provide for the family, so he understands the plight of widows.







One the widows' leader Evangelist Ngozi odita said that the widows will not forget the Support Group in a hurry as they embark on partnership. The widows were beaming with smiles and full of praises for the Atiku/Okowa support group. 





The widows requested for political materials needed to ensure victory at the polls for the People's Democratic party PDP. They requested any other form of support from His Excellency Dr Ifeanyi Okowa. 


Chief Dr Jonathan Nnaji promised that their requests will be forwarded to Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and his response will be communicated back to the widows.






Another of their leader Madam Chinaza Obi who spoke on behalf of the widows remarked that most of the widows have previously decided that they will never be part of elections because of the deceitful nature of politicians who usually promise and fail, but that having done some background check about the integrity of the Ndigbo United Congress and having listened to the inspirational speech by the President, Dr Nnaji, the widows have decided to be part of the 2023 elections by coming out enmasse to vote.




She concluded by saying that the widows won't waste their vote by voting for someone else in any other party besides the People Democratic Party PDP. She concluded by promising to bring her members numbering over 2000 widows to the next combined meeting between the two groups for a larger political engagement. 






It is important to note that the widows were from Lagos west senatorial zone 1 of the Ndigbo United Congress/Non Indigene Atiku/Okowa Support group.



3 widows were selected to be part of the executives of the Support group so they can represent the interest of the entire widows.


The Association received very impressive reports from market committee and town unions of the Ndigbo United Congress/Non Indigene.





In conclusion, it was agreed that there will be a  general  meeting of the Central Senatorial district and Lagos East Senatorial district on the 14th January, 2023. 


The widows  left joyfuly with thousands of Ndigbo United Congress for Atiku/Okowa fliers and banners for effective distribution and engagement. 



It  was a thing of joy to see the widows beaming with smiles at the close of the event.
